Mission: To provide minority high school students with awareness, education and information relative to the economic, financial and social advantages of graduating from high school and matriculating through college.  Access to business professionals and resources, leadership development and tools for academic excellence are provided to help the youth in our community improve several aspects of their lives.


The LOT Program seeks to provide college students with opportunities to grow and develop through a series of key activities:

- Bi-monthly developmental meetings covering SAT Prep, Etiquette, Social Topics, Entreprenuership, Interview and resume skills, Personal Finance...

- National Case Competition with Scholarship opportunity

- Oratorical Competition

- Global Community Service Project

- National Conference- Success Boot Camp

The Administrative Director is responsible for the integration, facilitation, and coordination of administrative and clinical practice for care center/division. Serves as a professional role model, leader, mentor, and clinical resource/educator for nurse managers and other members of the health care team. Develops SQP goals and objectives with staff based on analysis of targeted outcome measures of clinical and managerial processes. Improves operational excellence for patients related to cost, quality, service, and patient outcomes. Is a liaison to internal and external customers including physicians. Participates in business development activities. Is accountable for overall budget development, monitoring and variance analysis.


·   Must be a graduate of an accredited program of professional nursing. A baccalaureate degree is required – Masters degree is preferred.

·   Must possess current license as a Registered Nurse from the State of Virginia or awaiting reciprocity.

·   Maintains current CPR certification.

·   Minimum of (3) years of leadership/management experience in an acute care setting.

·   Knowledge of administrative and clinical systems, skills in systems development and implementation, evidence of excellent personnel management, communication skills and fiscal management, knowledge of quality management and performance improvement strategies and tools.

·   Minimum of 5 years of experience as a professional nurse.
